Táilte Tours to Sell Rare Memorabilia for the Irish Traction Group

Writer's picture: Niall KellyNiall Kelly

As part of our commitment to assisting Irish heritage railway groups, Táilte Tours CLG will be selling a selection of merch on behalf of our friends in the Irish Traction Group at the Model Railway & Hobbies Exhibition in Clontarf, Dublin, over the Irish Bank Holiday weekend, including some very hard to find A Class drinking glasses, and some original CIÉ carriage route maps from the early 1970s.

The profits raised from these will go towards the ITG's efforts in maintaining classic Irish diesel locomotives. Their collection includes such iconic Irish diesel classes as the famous A/001 locomotives Nos.A3r and A39, C Classes 226 and C231, several G class diesel shunters, and a selection of GM diesels, including single cab 121 class No.124.

You can find out more about the ITG's work at www.irishtractiongroup.com

The exhibition takes place over the Irish Bank Holiday weekend 26th-28th October 2024, 11:00-17:00 each day. The venue is Mount Temple School (where U2 attended!) Malahide Road, Malahide Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3, D03 DX79.

Unforunately we are not in a position to post these items.
